Marinella Campisi- Italian Artist & Founder of Marinella Art Studio

Marinella, an Italian artist from Capo d’Orlando - Sicily, has always drawn inspiration from the powerful natural forces surrounding her, especially the majestic and unpredictable volcanoes that dominate the Sicilian landscape. The raw energy of these natural wonders fuels her creativity, influencing both her bold color choices and dynamic compositions.

After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2001, she began her artistic journey by airbrushing motorcycles and cars and creating murals, she opened her personal garage-studio in Sicily. Her early work captured the intensity and passion of her environment, blending street art with fine artistry.

A pivotal moment in her career occurred when she moved to Dubai for a major project. This experience not only expanded her artistic horizons but also introduced her to new cultures and experiences. During this time, she met her husband and started a family and had 2 children, while continuing to cultivate her artistic vision.

Today, Marinella channels her creative energy into Marinella Art Studio, where she creates hand-painted, one-of-a-kind T-shirts. Each piece is infused with the power of her volcanic homeland, as well as the cosmopolitan influences from her time in Dubai. She refuses to use computer graphics in her work, ensuring that every item carries her unique artistic signature.

Her studio has become a destination for those seeking wearable art that reflects both personal expression and meticulous craftsmanship. Marinella’s dedication to hand-crafted, bespoke creations ensures that each piece she produces tells its own story, deeply rooted in the elemental force of Sicily’s landscape and the creative energy , she’s developed throughout her journey as an artist.
